So it's the 20-year anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre, and China's government is celebrating by showing how much things have changed. Government officials (cops?) in civilian clothing are wandering around the square this week, blocking news cameras with umbrellas like nothing's wrong. At least there aren't any tanks this time around.
Anyone else notice that the BBC volume slider goes to 11?
